Volunteer Information

The Independence Downtown Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit operated by volunteers. There are no paid staff as part of the organization.

There are many ways to participate as an IDA volunteer:

1. Join the IDA board of directors

2. Attend quarterly IDA meetings

3. Volunteer to organize one of the events, or be a day-of-volunteer

- Walk of Hearts

- Christmas Wreaths

- Last Day of School Celebration

- Hop & Heritage Festival

- Downtown Trick or Treat Event

- Puddle Hopper Event
